The Virtual Keyboard is a cleverly designed keyboard application which allows non-English speakers and writers to type in their own languages easily. For example, let’s take Russians. They write using Cyrillic alphabets. The alphabets cannot be found on traditional keyboards. The Virtual Keyboard allows you to overcome these limitations and enable you to type in your own language without having to get a customized keyboard.
The Virtual Keyboard software is basically designed with Flash, giving users’ multiple language options. For example, you can type in Russian, Chinese, English, and Japanese. For the users who want to type in English, the virtual keyboard is like any other QWERTY keyboard. However, if you change the language on the Virtual Keyboard to, let’s say, Russian, each alphabet on the keyboard is replaced by a Cyrillic alphabet.
It is suggested that new users should use the mouse to type, but as you grow more accustomed to using the Virtual Keyboard, you can use your keyboard as well. The main drawback of the program is that once you make a mistake and want to erase the word, you would have to erase all the letters and then type again.
All in all, it is a highly useful application.
